One point I missed out from the mark scheme is for question 1 I could have included the signifier ands the signifier and explained what the effects were of this.

7. This is because I wrote all the theorist and all the details that I needed to know on a piece of paper however I didn't revise it enough. Furthermore beforehand I didn't do that many blog works.

 Look at your answer for Question 2. Did you manage to write about three different strategies and three different benefits? It's vital you read the question and follow it exactly.

No I didn't I wrote about Conglomerate ownership and how conglomerate ownership allows the platform to hold more media making it so consumers would see more.

Look at your answer for Question 3. Did you follow the question guidance and write about both the BBC and commercial broadcasters? What could you have added to this answer to reach a higher mark?

Yes I followed the question however I didn't write about other commercial broadcasters. To achieve a higher mark I could have spoken more about the funding model and how its harder for private news organisations to make profit when there  are news for free.

Now look over your mark, teacher comments and the mark scheme for Question 4 - the 20 mark essay question on media effects theory. Write a new paragraph for this question based on the suggested theories/answers in the mark scheme. Make sure it is an extensive, detailed paragraph focused on the question and offering examples from the wider media. 

I agree with this statement that media has a damaging effect on audience's. This is because in America there was a school shooter and was later found out that the music he was listening to encouraged him to kill numerous people. Furthermore there was a theorist that proved that overtime what you watch and listen to affects and changes the way you think and act. This theorist was called Gerbner. He said that the media influences people and controls them.
